A delegation of PHISOS members met up again on 5th September 2019 on the occasion of the 75th Meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV, USA. More ideas were shared, and plans made for research and future PHISOS projects.

A delegation of PHISOS members, friends and sympathizers met up for the first time at the Monkey Bar in Berlin, Germany on 19th June 2019, during the 14th IFSSH Berlin - 11th IFSHT - combined FESSH Congress. The foundations of the PHISOS community and social network were laid. The PHISOS members shared their enthusiasm and commitment towards international cooperation, research and provision of the very best of care to the children with limb differences and disorders and their families.

1st PHISOS Meeting, 21 - 24 August 2019, Windsor
The 1st PHISOS meeting, held in Windsor, UK across from the Queen’s castle, concludes today. Over 20 surgeons and over 30 family members spent a great week getting to know each other and learning from each other. The best time was had by the children, from babies to young adults, who quickly overcame language barriers and became the best of friends. Professional highlights included a simplified technique for syndactyly reconstruction, use of 3-D modeling for complex bony reconstructions, and camptodactyly reconstruction techniques. Social highlights included visiting the Castle and a boat tour on the Thames. A new community was created, old friendships were strengthened, and new friendships were made. The next meeting will be in Verona, Italy in 2021.
